"HULS Gallery Singapore" Opening

HULS Asia Pacific Pte.Ltd., a company which supports the distribution of “ARITA PLUS” in
Southeast Asia market opened a gallery in Duxton Hill, Singapore.

In this gallery, our products mainly the ones of Riso Porcelain are on permanent display in order
to approach customers in the food service industry such as chefs and restaurants.

2017 marks the 401st anniversary of Arita porcelain.
We are pleased to announce our ARITA PLUS collection: TERROIR.




The word "terroir" expresses the distinctive features of a land in terms of its terrain and climate.
We have expanded the scope of the concept to include nature and culture as we create porcelain pieces based
on four themes: terroir, artistan, orient, and hommage.




The collection will be first presented at SIRHA 2017, in Lyon, France.


Arita porcelain: the start of the 401st year

Arita is considered the birthplace of Japanese porcelain.

The discovery of good quality pottery stone in Izumiyama, Arita, in 1616, launched the 400-year story of Arita porcelain.
The town of Arita started to grow, centered around Izumiyama Quarry.
Even after all these years, one can still feel the spirit of porcelain’s origins here in Arita.




During its long history, Arita porcelain has been refined through the repetition of inheritance
and evolution so that it may respond to the power of Japan's cuisine,
which uses the five senses to express ever-changing nature and seasonality.




Expanding this cultivated perspective, we take the kind of ARITA tableware that is sought by top chefs,
explore its possibilities, and present it to the world as ARITA PLUS.
